Sensor

After transformations performed by the optical components, the Sensor integrates the radiance onto the pixels. This is accomplished using two point spread functions (PSF):

  1. Spatial point spread function

  2. Spectral point spread function

The spatial PSF integrates radiance as a function of angular distance from the pixel line of sight. For speed, this PSF is broken into a horizontal and vertical component to create a rectangular PSF with a field of view \(0.0056^\circ\times0.015^\circ\).
